Wolf Haldenstein is investigating claims on behalf of Methodist Hospitals patients in Merrillville, Indiana and Gary, Indiana who have received notice that their patient accounts have been breached.
Methodist Hospitals announced that hackers gained access to customer information from its patient records, including Social Security, driver’s license, electronic signature, health insurance, and medical treatment and diagnosis information. Methodist admits that as many as 68,000 patients may be affected.
If you have received a notice in the mail from Methodist, it is possible that your personal information was accessed and/or compromised.
