Nissan Altima Suspension/Control Arm/Spring Link Investigation
Wolf Haldenstein Adler Freeman & Herz LLP is investigating claims on behalf of owners of 2013-2018 Nissan Altimas. The Office of Defects Investigation (“ODI”) of the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration (“NHTSA”) is investigating these vehicles because of a risk that the rear lower control arm assembly, also referred to as a “lower spring link,” can fail at a point of connection to the vehicle chassis. This can cause a loss of rear suspension to the vehicle and may put the wheel near the affected spring link out of alignment.
Owners of these vehicles have reported control arms fracturing while the vehicle is in motion. They have further reported this resulting in the vehicle pulling strongly in one direction, difficulty controlling the vehicle, and/or noises from the suspension.
If the you are the owner of a 2013-2018 Nissan Altima and you have any questions or wish to discuss this potential action please contact Wolf Haldenstein by telephone at (800) 575-0735, via e-mail at email@example.com, or by filing out the below form.
