Wolf Haldenstein Recovers $150 Million from JP Morgan On Behalf of the Manhattan and Bronx Service Transit Operating Authority Pension Plan and all Shareholder Class Members

Wolf Haldenstein represented the Investment Committee of the Manhattan and Bronx Service Transit Operating Authority pension plan in an action alleging breaches of fiduciary duty arising from JPMorgan Chase’s mismanagement of collective investment vehicles in which government pension plans were invested. Following hard fought litigation and numerous mediation sessions, the completion of expert discovery, and motions in limine, in 2012, the parties executed a stipulation of settlement whereby the class received $150 million in cash to settle their claims. Wolf Haldenstein served on the executive committee as well as serving as the client representative in the case.
