Wolf Haldenstein Announces Preliminary Approval of the Initial Public Offering Securities Litigation for $586 million.

Wolf Haldenstein Adler Freeman & Herz LLP, a member of the Plaintiffs? Executive Committee, is pleased to announce that a proposed $586 million settlement has been reached in the Initial Public Offering Securities Litigation (?IPO Securities Litigation?). On June 9, 2009, the Honorable Shira A. Scheindlin, United States District Judge for the Southern District of New York presiding over each of the 309 coordinated class actions which comprise the IPO Securities Litigation, preliminarily approved the proposed settlement. The Court directed that Notice and Proof of Claim forms be sent to class members, and set a hearing date September 10, 2009, at 4:30 p.m. to consider final approval of the settlement, the plans of allocation, and the award of attorneys? fees and expenses. A copy of the Notice and Proof of Claim form will be available approximately the first week of July 2009. At that time, copies of the Notice and Proof of Claim forms will be available from the Court appointed claims administrator, The Garden City Group, and copies will also be posted on Wolf Haldenstein?s website.
