Management of Receivables
Wolf Haldenstein’s Healthcare Group includes a department dedicated to the collection of receivables on behalf of nursing homes and other health care providers. We combine our knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, insurance reimbursement and guardianship law to pursue responsible persons, government reimbursement and third party payers to maximize receipts to health care providers.

Our efforts include prosecuting Medicaid applications, including fair hearings and Article 78 appeals, obtaining guardians for incapacitated residents and litigation.

Clients receive periodic detailed reports on all the cases we are handling for them. We provide counsel and in-service presentations on minimizing the accrual of uncollectible receivables.
