Wolf Haldenstein's Transactional Real Estate Group consists of three partners, four associates and two paralegals who are experienced in all forms of real estate transactions including representation of clients in: the acquisition, disposition, and exchange of commercial and residential property; ground, office, retail and master leasing; development (air) right sales and purchases and zoning and land development agreements; permanent, mezzanine, leasehold, wraparound and construction financing for lenders and borrowers; construction and development agreements; the conversion of existing rental, vacant, or rehabilitated properties to cooperatives, condominiums, homeowners associations and timeshares; work outs of troubled loans; and in addressing operating issues for both commercial and residential properties. The Transactional Group has handled the acquisition and disposition of several hundred shopping centers, hotels, office buildings, apartment houses, hundreds of financings arranging in size from half a million to half a billion dollars, negotiated leases for hundreds of thousands of square feet of commercial, retail and office space (on behalf of both landlords and tenants), represented the developers of numerous major buildings, and has represented sponsors of conversions of some of New York's most prestigious and successful condominium developments.
