Mary Jane Fait is the managing partner in the firm's Chicago office. She is a graduate of Cornell Law School (J.D. 1979). She is admitted to practice in Illinois and New York and is a member of the Bar of the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals. She also is a member of the Chicago Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, and the Antitrust Division of the American Bar Association. Ms. Fait practiced commercial litigation in New York City at Hart & Hume from 1979-1981 and then moved to Chicago where she practiced complex litigation with Much Shelist Freed Denenberg Ament & Rubenstein, P.C. for almost twenty years before joining Wolf Haldenstein as a partner.

Ms. Fait has concentrated in trial and appellate litigation for over 20 years, with a majority of her experience in antitrust, securities, consumer fraud and other complex litigation. The complex litigation in which she has been involved includes the following:
